  • His friend, Iyanya, defended him, making bold claims about who is allegedly fuelling the story and why
  • According to him, the jeweller involved reportedly clears the air, but the online chatter refuses to die down

Afrobeats star Davido’s Miami wedding was meant to be all about love, glamour.

However, just days after the celebration, whispers of scandal swept through social media, with popular talent manager, Ubi Franklin, accused of stealing a luxury wristwatch at the event.

But Franklin quickly broke his silence, calling the claims a calculated attempt to smear his name.

In a statement, he explained that the watch’s owner, luxury dealer Benny, had already come out earlier in the day to debunk the theft rumours.
