Timbo got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Alan, who is a renowned professional photographer.

She shared a video of Alan warmly embracing her and getting down on his knees to propose with a ring.

She accepted his proposal, and the couple beamed with excitement.

While captioning the video, Timbo revealed they have been dating for four years.

She praised her Mr Right, explaining that he changed her life for the better.

"Alan proposed! And I said yes!!! From the day we met, I knew you were my person. Over the last 4 years, you have changed my life for the better. I can’t wait to be your wife," she wrote.

Elsewhere, a student at a local institution of higher learning publicly proposed to his girlfriend, but her response left many heartbroken, including himself.

In a video posted on TikTok, the young man went down on his knees and offered his girl a ring, signifying his interest in spending the rest of his life with her.

The event took place in the presence of many other students, who urged the young lady to accept the proposal.

However, instead of accepting the engagement ring, the lady chose to take only a picture frame from him, leaving her friends trying to convince her otherwise.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng also reported that a young lady narrated her reason for rejecting her man's proposal after dating him for eight years.

According to her, she didn't think it was the right thing for him to do at the time because he didn't have a steady income yet.

She revealed that he was going to the university where he would spend about five to six years studying.
