Popular rapper, Ycee, and Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya, are not cool with the decision of some western countries to ban African nations from entering their countries.

The duo opined that Africa is blessed to survive on its own and they frowned at the narrative that the new variant is an African thing.

Ycee said he wished African countries could reciprocate the gesture and put other continents on the red list as well.

Beverly on her part expressed how heartbreaking she is about the situation, she feels Africans don't need the western world and blamed the media for spreading the wrong narrative.

The actress also declared that the world is nothing without Africa.

"African nations need to form an alliance and ban all these countries. To hell with the narrative they've pushed for centuries. This continent has everything they need."

In a related development, Legit.ng reported that popular female disc jockey, DJ Cuppy will miss the detty December fun due to the travel ban on Nigeria in the UK.

She expressed her disappointment that she won't be able to travel and a fan said she should use her father's influence.

DJ Cuppy said it is a criminal offence and everything is not about her father's status.
