Popular Nigerian singer, Simi, is a great lover of international rapper, JCole, and her husband, Adekunle Gold, recently surprised her in a big way.

Adekunle Gold happened to meet the rapper at a restaurant and he put a call through to his wife, Simi, knowing her great love for him.

In the short clip, posted online, Adekunle Gold made his wife talk to the rapper on a video call and she was left speechless for most of it.

JCole in turn also said hello to Simi and wanted to know how she was doing.

Simi who shared the video of their call on her official Instagram page noted that the people who know her can testify to how much she loves JCole.

According to her, she almost passed out from excitement on the call and JCole is probably the only celebrity she would ever 'fan girl' for.

Not stopping there, Simi added that the loving gesture from her husband is how people would know AG Baby is truly her baby.

She wrote:

“I almost passed out I'm still giddy. If you know you know. @realcoleworld the only person I'll probably ever fangirl for. I was coherent for about 12% of the conversation and for that I congratulate myself.

"And this is how you know AG Baby is my Baby.”

Singer Simi recorded over 350k views on her new single called Woman, less than 24 hours after she released it online. Nigerians took to different social media platforms to hail the singer's creativity.

A lady called Rayor, however, seemed not to be impressed by Simi's recent creative work as she told the mother of one that her husband Adekunle Gold can sing better than her.

Surprisingly, Simi reacted and she did not slam her critic.
