Influencer Ashlee Jenae found dead
The posts, shared shortly before the tragedy, circulated online as netizens struggled to come to terms with the death of the influencer.
Robinson, popularly recognised by her online handle Ashlee Jenae, died aged 31 while travelling in Tanzania with her fiancé Joe McCann.
Members of her family confirmed the news through a statement released on Instagram on April 12, explaining that she had been discovered unconscious inside her villa and rushed to a nearby hospital, where her death was confirmed hours later.
The announcement sparked an outpouring of grief from followers and fellow creators who had closely followed her lifestyle content.
According to information obtained by Tanzanian outlet Mwanachi, police said they believed Robinson’s death resulted from suicidee, People reports.
Authorities further stated that hotel management had separated Robinson and McCann into different rooms following what officials described as a misunderstanding between the couple during their stay.
Police commander Benedict Mapujira confirmed that investigators did not plan to detain McCann and noted that no allegation of wrongdoing had been made against him.
Family members acknowledged that an active investigation remained underway in Zanzibar and said they were cooperating with local authorities while seeking answers about the circumstances surrounding her death.

They described the tragedy as sudden and deeply painful, adding that unanswered questions and the distance from home intensified their grief.
Originally based in Portland, Robinson built an online community of more than 88,000 followers through lifestyle posts documenting travel experiences, relationships and everyday moments.
Much of her content featured time spent with McCann, including holidays, date nights and personal achievements, allowing followers a close look into her life.
In her final days online, Robinson shared several posts from her holiday experience on Instagram.
These included photos and videos of her engaging with wildlife, celebrating her birthday, and marking a great milestone during the trip.
She also shared a caption expressing deep satisfaction with the stage of life she was in, alongside another post reflecting excitement and gratitude for the experience she was having at the time.
"If this is a dream, no one wake me up," she said.
