Also, 4.5 million airline international passengers annually originate their flights from foreign airports, particularly the United States, United Kingdom and many other countries destined for Nigeria. The majority of these passengers are Nigerians in the diaspora. The collective strength of the diaspora cannot be overlooked

He further emphasised on the unwavering commitment the INC Americas had in supporting the Bayelsa State government in tangible development, not just through remittances but through the utilization of a collective wealth of experience, knowledge and exposure of the Diaspora in various fields of endeavour. He spoke about his personal vision of organizing Ijaw resources (Human) and connecting them with technical, financial and technological opportunities available in the United States for the development of our homeland in all sectors including Education, Healthcare, Technology, Housing, Transportation, Agriculture as well as Energy Oil and Gas. To further create this kind of beneficial interaction, Mr Anga announced that the INC Americas would hold their pioneer annual convention next year (2023); aimed at creating mutually beneficial networks between the Homeland and potential providers of opportunities. In conclusion, Mr Chairman applauded the Bayelsa state government for the creation of the Diaspora Focal Office as well as other diaspora-friendly policies instituted by the state government, he further added that a Diaspora Investment promotion desk would be instituted by the congress to further create platforms for investment bridges and networks to be made.
