Metuh Denies Condemning Pro-Biafra Agitators

The National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, has reacted to media report claiming he had allegedly warned pro-Biafra agitators "to desist from disturbing the peace of the South-East zone."

Mr. Metuh described the report by a national daily Daily Trust as completely false and fabricted, adding that "Nigerians have the right to demonstrate as long as they do so peacefully and within the ambits of the law."
