Obasanjo’s Ogun PDP Faction Denies Defecting To APC.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s faction of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ogun State has denied defecting to the opposition.

The former Chairman of the party, Joju Fadairo, said this at a press conference held in Abeokuta on Monday.

Fadairo said there was "no directive from the former president to decamp".

Fadairo admitted, however, that the Ogun chapter of the ruling party is in crisis, but said they were fixing the problems.

He also said that members of the faction had resolved to stay in the PDP and work together to ensure the success of the party in 2015 election.
