MEND calls on immediate freeing of Asari Dokubo, warns about retaliation.

The Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND) has demanded the immediate release of Mr. Asari Dokubo, who since November 26, 2013, Tuesday.

It pledged not to abandon Mr. Dokubo at this time just as it will not abandon Henry, his brother Charles Okah and others who are still incarcerated.

The Lawyer of Asari Dokubo, Festus Keyamo, petitioned President Goodluck Jonathan on November 27, 2013, Wednesday, asking for his direct intervention in ensuring the former militant’s release.
