Gov. Amaechi describes CP Joseph Mbu as PDP politician.

The Governor of Rivers State made this remark on January 8, 2014, Wednesday, shortly after

Gov. Amaechi accused CP Mbu of attending PDP meetings and carrying out illegal actions.

Explaining that a group of persons, led by some politicians in Abuja and the state police commissioner had planned to stop the State Legislature and Judiciary from functioning,

He also acknowledged their determination to carry on with their legislative responsibilities despite attempts by enemies of the state to forestall their progress.
