APC defends its opinion poll, says PDP's survey is biased.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) said on Tuesday that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) uses services of a company owned by the Minister of Finance to ensure that President Goodluck Jonathan is rated highly in opinion surveys.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja, the APC Interim National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, said that contrary to claims that the party conducted a biased survey, it was the PDP that manipulated its survey figures to suit its purpose.

The recent APC's opinion poll found out that President Goodluck Jonathan failed in all key areas of governance.

Mohammed said that the APC, unlike the ruling party, commissioned KA Research Limited, Africa Division to carry out a survey for it.

The APC alleged that the PDP used the services of a NOI poll company reportedly owned by the Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, to conduct polls in a bid to launder the administration’s image and rate Jonathan highly.
