Hosts Of AFCON 2017 Will Be Announced April 8

The hosts of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be announced April 8 in Cairo, Egypt.

The date was officially revealed on January 22 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

The football body disclosed that there are 4 candidates to host the tournament, with Algeria, Egypt, Gabon and Ghana all competing to replace strife-riven Libya.
