From videos shared on social media, one could spot a raised huge pickup with DMX's red casket at the back as it made its way through the city.
The truck was written on the side "Long live DMX" and was followed by several other cars and hundreds of all sorts of motorbikes.
People filled both sides of the road all the way to the location as they watched exotic cars blast DMX'S music while bidding goodbye to a legend.
During the memorial, one of DMX's young daughters gave a powerful rap while paying tribute to her father, leaving many in awe.
"My daddy still holding my hand so I've got to get up. I learned so much from my father, he taught me in the life of my story I'm the author. He told me it's okay to be afraid because some times it will teach you how to be brave... Looking at my daddy picture on the wall, I know he'd want me to be the best I can be... My brothers and sisters we all stand together, throw out the X, daddy forever," the little one sang.
She also rapped how her dad taught her to pray, understand good and bad, promising to do what's right going forward.
It was definitely an emotional moment as many of his colleagues in the music industry, including Swizz Beatz, who spoke at the funeral, noting people should have been there for him as they were after his death.
Recently, the late rapper's family warned fans of people wanting to make money from his demise.
They also said that merchandise that they supposedly authorise did not exist.
There were also rumours that Beyoncé and Jay-Z bought DMX's masters, but this was confirmed as untrue by Swizz Beatz.
The rapper and actor died at White Plains Hospital in New York on Friday, April 9, while under medical care after suffering a catastrophic cardiac arrest.
