Jose Mourinho is understood to have met with Tottenham players after he was relieved of his duties as manager of the north London club, Daily Mail.
According to The Telegraph, after holding a two-hour showdown with the club's management, the 58-year-old also had a four-hour talk with Spurs players before he finally left the premises.
The Special One was believed to have been ready to hold a training session with the players before the unexpected happened.
During his 17-month spell in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Mourinho fell out with players like England internationals Danny Rose and Dele Alli.
At one point in time, the Portuguese gaffer had issues with French midfielder Touquay Ndombele who was linked with a move out of the London club in the process.
