APC National Leader Bola Tinubu to Chair Aisha Buhari’s Book Launch

The national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is expected to chair the public presentation of a book written in honour of the wife of the president, Aisha Buhari.

Nigerian Tribune reports that the book titled Aisha Buhari: Being different is written by Dr. Hajo Sani, the senior special assistant to the president of administration and women affairs.

The event being organised by the Office of the First Lady in collaboration with Women Affairs and National Development is slated for Thursday, April 8.

A copy of the invitation sighted by The Punch on Friday, April 2, revealed Folorunsho Alakija as the Special Guest of Honour.

Prominent Nigerians including Aliko Dangote and Tony Elumelu are expected to be grace the occasion.

The book presenters will be Dangote, Elumelu, Abdulsamad Rabiu, Prince Arthur Eze, Bola Shagaya, Femi Otedola, Muhammadu Indimi, Jim Ovia, Kessington Adebutu, Daisy Danjuma, and Idahosa Okunbo.

Legit.ng recalls that Aisha returned to the country after spending six months in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The president's wife, who quietly relocated abroad after Hanan, one of her daughters, got married in September 2020, was at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

She was said to have returned to the country on the night of Wednesday, March 17.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Buhari chaired the colloquium to celebrate the 69th birthday of Tinubu.

Buhari presided over the event virtually which was organised by the office of the vice-president, Yemi Osinbajo.

The event, 12th in the series of the Bola Tinubu Colloquium, was held on Monday, March 29, 2021, with the theme, ‘Our Common Bond, Our Common Wealth: The Imperative Of National Cohesion For Growth And Prosperity’.
