American author and host, Candace Owens has said that she intends to sue rapper Cardi B over her tweet against her family members.
The deleted tweets were some of Cardi's replies to the commentator after she criticised the singer's Grammy Awards performance of the hit song "WAP."

As reported by Fox News, Candace disclosed that the lawsuit is not an idle threat and people would be able to watch it play out in the courtroom.
She continued by saying that she would not sit and watch while anyone used doctored tweets to try to libel and slander her family members.

The award-winning rapper posted a now-deleted tweet that was supposedly from the conservative commentator’s account that claimed an affair in her marriage.
Owens alleged the post was photoshopped and fired back that she intended to sue because Cardi B’s repost took aim at her brother who according to her is a "private citizen."

Still on Cardi B, Legit.ng earlier reported that during the recently held Grammy Awards, Cardi B made headlines with her WAP performance alongside Megan Thee Stallion.
However, the rapper faced some backlash from mothers who said the performance was inappropriate for children to watch on TV
The rapper defended herself on Instagram after a user asked how Cardi was empowering women since she didn’t allow her daughter listen to her music.
She said that her daughter didn’t need to hear her music to be empowered and that people needed to stop expecting celebrities to raise their kids.
