According to the politician, Kalu’s younger brother and another chieftain took him to a prophet on School Road, Aba, in Abia state.

Abaribe said:

“In my case, on the night before swearing into office, the then Aba North local government chairman informed me that Kalu’s people were not comfortable with me as I had not sworn to anything."

Meanwhile, Kalu has urged the people of the southeast to join the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Kalu in a tweet on Monday, January 18, said the APC’s ongoing registration of new members and re-validation of old membership affords an opportunity for Igbo people to join the winning team.

The lawmaker suggested that joining the party is beneficial because the APC is committed to a united and indivisible Nigeria.

Still on politics, a group, the Coalition of South East Professionals Network in Nigeria and Diaspora (CSEPNND) accused Nnamdi Kanu of working against the chances of the southeast zone to produce the next president in 2023.
