Supercomputer reveals who will win Champions League weeks after predicting Man City will win Premier League

Manchester City have been tipped by the supercomputer to win the Champions League title at the end of this season.

The Premier League table-toppers have a 37 per cent chance to emerge European champions for the first time in their history.

Pep Guardiola's men dropped finished Group C leaders with 16 points after five wins and one draw during the group stages.

The Citizens have won four EPL titles since the takeover in 2008 including two FA Cups and five EFL Cup titles but have missed out on chances to win the UCL.

However, the mainframe system tips them ahead of the likes of defending champions Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Juventus and others to be crowned winners this season.

City kickoff their knockout stages campaign against German League Borussia Monchengladbach side and the computer claims they have 92 percent chance to progress to the next round.

Guardiola's men have 71 per cent chances to reach the semifinals and 54 per cent to advance to the final where they can eventually lift the silverware.

Meanwhile, Spanish League giants Barcelona are the closest to Mann City in terms of winning the title as they have a 13 per cent shot of getting their hands on the trophy as reported by SunSport.

In what is almost certain to be Lionel Messi's final season at the Nou Camp, the club will surely go all-out to win their first European crown since 2014-15.

The Argentine has been tipped to join either Man City or Paris Saint Germain as he looks for a fresh challenge next campaign.

Messi is expected to join one of Man City or PSG in what could prove the missing piece in the puzzle in their pursuit of continental success.

Defending champions Bayern Munich are third-favourites to win this season's competition, with an 11 per cent chance of glory.

Liverpool comes fourth on the list of favourites to emerge victorious in spite of their disappointing displays in the domestic league this campaign. Jurgen Klopp's men are an outside bet to win it all, with just a seven per cent shot.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid who have won the silverware 13-time have just a six per cent of going all the way, while Chelsea and Juventus are even further adrift, given just a five per cent chance of lifting the trophy.
