The movies on the poll were Omo Ghetto the Saga, Fate of Alakada and Oloture. It churned out interesting results.

Omo Ghetto the Saga topped the poll after gathering 74.8% of the votes. There was a huge gap between the winning movie and the second position that was taken by Oloture with 12.3% of the votes. Alakada had 3.9% of the votes.

Interesting. recently reported that weeks after ranking among top movies of the year 2020, Omo Ghetto: The saga shattered existing box office records to become the highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time.

The record was previously held by The Wedding Part (One); another star-studded movie from the camp of top media executive, Mo Abudu’s Ebonylife Films. The Wedding Party which was directed by Kemi Adetiba garnered N453,000,000 from cinema runs.

Omo Ghetto broke the record with an earning that currently stands at N468,036,300.
