The Nigerian Police Force has arrested suspected kidnappers who have been terrorising Ahmadu Bello University, a report by Daily Trust states. gathers that the suspects were arrested by the Special Tactical Squad of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP).

Aliyu Abubakar, one of the workers of the institution working in the security department, was also arrested for allegedly providing assistance to the kidnappers.

Police spokesperson, Frank Mba, told newsmen that a suspect, Malam Jafaru, who reportedly provides spiritual guidance to the kidnappers was also arrested.
