Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly considering bringing former club boss Avram Grant back to Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have endured a poor run of results in recent weeks, losing four of their last six league matches.

The dip in form has seen Frank Lampard come under immense pressure, with reports suggesting he could be shown the door should he fail to steady the ship.

Chelsea are slated to take on struggling Fulham and Leicester City in their upcoming matches which are now must wins for the side if they are to arrest their slide.

Be that as it may, the vultures have already begun to circle, with a number of experienced managers now being linked with the Stamford Bridge job.

Ex-Juve boss Max Allegri, Thomas Tuchel and Andriy Shevchenko are among a number of tacticians who have already been touted as possible replacements for Lampard.

But Metro UK citing Sky Sports report Abramovich is looking to bring Grant back to the club to join Lampard's backroom staff.

Grant, who is understood to be Abramovich's close pal first came to the club during Jose Mourinho's tenure as a technical bench member but eventually replaced the Special One at the helm.

He had a peculiar campaign during the 2007/08 season, guiding Chelsea to a second place finish as well as to the finals of the Champions League and the League Cup.

However, despite his immense coaching experience, the 65-year-old Israeli tactician has been without a job since 2018.

His last assignment was with Indian club, NorthEast United.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Frank Lampard has been voted the most trolled Premier League manager this campaign.

This rating was arrived at after thousands of posts were analysed to find out which manager is trolled the most on Twitter.

The Blues boss finished top of the chart with 42 per cent (365 votes) while the most common emoji used in the tweets including Lampard's name was the crying face.

That could be down to the fact that Chelsea have lost four of their last six league matches.
