Leader of the Reformed All Progressives Congress, R-APC, Alhaji Buba Galadima has declared that at the formation of the party, there was a zoning arrangement agreed upon by leaders of the ruling party.

Galadima revealed this in an interview with Daily Sun published on Saturday, January 2.

His words:

“Four people, two from the southwest, and two from the north reached that agreement. I know about this agreement from a reliable source.

“Those who sat and agreed upon this agreement were two former governors from the southwest, one serving governor from the north, and also another political gladiator from the north.”

Some Nigerians have been reacting to Galadima's comment via social media.

Okorodudun Eyituoyo Augustine wrote on Facebook:

“Remain in your PDP and expend your energy with its affairs. You are not an APC spokesman.”

Eze Edwin wrote:

“They will not accept it even if you show them video evidence. They don't like the truth. I pity those they want to deceive again.”

Umar Bello wrote:

“You are already a retired politician. Nobody will listen to your fault allegation.”

Meanwhile, 2023 presidential campaign posters of Kogi state governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello have surfaced on some major roads in Kano state.

The posters carrying inscriptions suggesting the governor’s 2023 presidential ambitions, were spotted in some areas of the foremost northern commercial city.

Recall that all members of the Kogi state House of Assembly recently called on Governor Bello to put his hat in the ring for the presidency in 2023.

According to the lawmakers, the governor ticked all the right boxes for the presidential seat and should be backed by all Nigerians to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari.
