Ole Solskjaer has reportedly been blamed by some Manchester United players following their exit in the Champions League in which they lost against Leipzig.

The Premier League side have been favored to secure their passage to the knockout stages of the Champions League, but they suffered an embarrassing defeat in their last group game.

Defeat against Leipzig means that Manchester United will now continue their campaign in Europe this term in the second tier which is the Europa League.

Solskjaer has now put himself under pressure following the Champions League defeat with many fans clamoring for the Norwegian to be sacked.

According to the report on Daily Star, Manchester United players believe that Solskjaer is to blame for their inconsistent form because he gives some of them an easy ride.

However, the report added that majority of the squad are still backing Ole Solskjaer this term and have the believe that the current situation would change.

Already, Manchester United have been linked with former Tottenham gaffer Mauricio Pochettino who is yet to get any club since he was sacked at Spurs.

Jose Mourinho replaced the Argentine and the Portuguese has been able to turn the side to a title contenders in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently occupying sixth position on the Premier League table with 19 points after 10 games played so far.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Paul Merson slammed Manchester United star Paul Pogba telling the Frenchman to change his profession to playing snooker if he is tired of life at the Premier League club.

Merson's statement is coming as a response to the words of Pogba's agent Mino Raiola who has warned Manchester United to release the Frenchman or lose him for free.

Raiola who is also an agent to other top professional players explained that Paul Pogba is not interested in extending his deal at Manchester United.

So far this season in the Premier League and other competitions, Paul Pogba has not been impressive for Manchester United and has been criticized by fans.

Pogba's agent claimed that his client has not been able to express himself very well at Manchester United, and Merson explained that he should change to snooker so as to achieve personal glory.
