Paul Merson has slammed Manchester United star Paul Pogba telling the Frenchman to change his profession to playing snooker if he is tired of life at the Premier League club.

Merson's statement is coming as a response to the words of Pogba's agent Mino Raiola who has warned Manchester United to release the Frenchman or lose him for free.

Raiola who is also an agent to other top professional players explained that Paul Pogba is not interested in extending his deal at Manchester United.

So far this season in the Premier League and other competitions, Paul Pogba has not been impressive for Manchester United and has been criticized by fans.

Pogba's agent claimed that his client has not been able to express himself very well at Manchester United, and Merson explained that he should change to snooker so as to achieve personal glory.

According to the report on Sky Sports, Merson stated clearly that Paul Pogba should play with his teammates for the success of the Red Devils.

"It's not like Man Utd are the most defensive team you've ever seen. Look at Tottenham! I don't hear Harry Kane and Son moaning. Go and play snooker if you want it to be all about you.''

Since rejoining Manchester United in 2016 from Juventus, Paul Pogba has played 116 games so far for the Red Devils scoring 26 goals.

He has won the EFL Cup and also the Europa League title at Manchester United.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer cautioned super-agent Mino Raiola over his latest comments that his client, Paul Pogba’s time at the club is over.

United crashed out of the Champions League following a 3-2 loss to RB Leipzig and barely hours to the encounter, Raiola had suggested that Pogba needs to leave the club.

The Frenchman was named on the bench for the cracker and came on to inspire the Red Devils who were three goals down to come close at 3-2.

United needed a point to cruise to the next round of the tournament but they could not complete the comeback as they now move to the Europa League.
