Paul Onuachu is the highest goalscorer in all of Europe's elite leagues after taking his tally to 14 goals this season.

The Nigerian international was on target for Genk in their 4-2 win over Europa League contingents Royal Antwerp.

The 26-year-old brought his side level after Koji Miyoshi had put Antwerp in the lead in the third minute and added his second, four minutes later to keep Genk in front.

Theo Bongonda added the third before another Super Eagles striker sealed the win after Dieumerci Mbokani had pulled one back.

Onuachu's 14 goals rank him above Bayern Munich's prolific scorer, Robert Lewandowski and the current Premier League top marksman, Dominic Calvert-Lewin who both have 12 and 11 goals respectively.

Paris Saint-Germain Kylian Mbappe, AC Milan's Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Dortmund's Erling Haaland Genk's Theo Bongonda and Beerschot Raphael Holzhauser have all scored ten goals.

Other strikers who have scored nine this season includes in-form Tottenham star Heung-Min, Leicester City's Jamie Vardy and Iranian star who plays for Russian club Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Onuachu scored on his international debut for Nigeria against Egypt before the 2019 AFCON tournament but he is yet to find the back of the net in seven other matches for the three-time African champions.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu was in another brilliant form for his Belgian club Genk, scoring a brace as they defeated Royal Antwerp 4-2 in Jupiler League encounter.

Paul Onuachu has been delivering eye-catching performances in front of goal in the current campaign and again impressed against Royal Antwerp.

The 26-year-old Nigerian striker was handed his 12th start in 14th League appearances and scored his second consecutive brace.
