Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu was in another brilliant form for his Belgian club Genk scoring brace as they defeated Royal Antwerp 4-2 in Juliler League encounter.

Paul Onuachu has been delivering eye-catching performances in front of goal in the current campaign and again impressed against Royal Antwerp

The 26-year-old Nigerian striker was handed his 12th start in 14th League appearances and scored his second consecutive brace.

This is an incredible show performances from the Super Eagles star.

Onuachu got his first brace against Mechelen in September and last weekend delivered similar performances against Cercle Brugge before registering his third.

However the visitors scored the first goal in this encounter in the 3rd minute through Koji Miyoshi who was brilliant.

Nigerian star Paul Onuachu restored parity for Genk in the 19th minute before giving them the lead four minutes later.

Theo Bongonda scored the third goal for Genk in the 59th minute before Cyriel Dessers sealed the win at the death.

Onuachu has been impressive for his club in Belgium, but the Nigerian has not been able to replicate that form for the Super Eagles.

He has so far played eight games for the Super Eagles scoring one goal for the three-time African champions.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has rubbished reports going around that Nigerian doctors worsened the shoulder injury he sustained while playing for the three-time African champions.

The Napoli striker got injured while playing for Super Eagles in their 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone which ended in a draw in Benin, Edo state.

Victor Osimhen was however not allowed to travel with the Super Eagles for the second leg encounter which was played in Freetown.

And since he suffered the injury in Benin, Victor Osimhen has not been able to play for Italian side Napoli in the Serie A.

However, there were reports that Super Eagles doctors did more damage to the 21-year-old's injury by trying to fix the dislocated shoulder immediately on the field.
