Arsenal chiefs have been trying to convince him to sign a new deal, but no announcement has been made so far on the development.
According to the report on UK Sun citing Football London, Shkodran Mustafi is not interested in signing a new deal with the Gunners, but to try his luck elsewhere.
His current contract with Arsenal will come to an end at the end of the ongoing season and the Gunners may be losing him on a free transfer next summer.
Last season in the Premier League, injury made Mustafi to miss some weeks for Arsenal before making a return to the squad this term.
And on Sunday, October 25, he came off the bench against Leicester City replacing David Luiz and was unable to save the Gunners from a defeat.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently occupying 10th position on the Premier League table after their defeat against the Foxes.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Ghana international Thomas Partey has been told by concerned Arsenal fans that he would waste his prime years of football with Premier League giants Arsenal.
The 27-year-old super midfielder joined the Gunners from Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid during the recent transfer window and made his debut against Manchester City.
Although Partey came off the bench against the Citizens, he was unable to save the Gunners from a defeat as Raheem Sterling's goal gave Guardiola and his men the win.
However, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta decided to give Partey his full debut in Europa League clash against Rapid Vienna and he was impressive in the encounter.
His performance which helped Arsenal beat Rapid Vienna made Arteta throw him into the first team once again against Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday, October 25.
