Apostle Suleman prays for APC’s Ize-Iyamu ahead of Edo election

The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo state, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, is not leaving any stone unturned in his bid to win the forthcoming poll.
Ahead of the election, Ize-Iyamu who is also a pastor has sought the spiritual blessing of the general overseer of OMEGA Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman.

In a related development, over 400 religious leaders in Edo state have endorsed Governor Godwin Obaseki and his deputy, Comrade Philip Shaibu, for a second term.
The religious leaders also promised to mobilise thousands of their followers to vote for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the September 19 governorship election.
Legit.ng gathered that the religious leaders who are mostly pastors in Assemblies of God Church said the governor’s re-election will enable his administration to consolidate on the successes recorded in the first term.

Also, the Oba of Benin, Ewuare II, has said plans are underway to organise special prayer for a peaceful governorship poll.
The first-class monarch said the Edo state Council of Traditional Rulers would be summoned for the important prayer.
The Benin monarch stated this when he played host to the state governor, Godwin Obaseki and some chieftains of the PDP in his palace in Benin.
In a separate report, The Edo monarch has also said he would invite all the participating candidates to his palace to sign a peace pact.
He said this on Thursday, August 27, when he played host to the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), Professor Mahmud Yakubu.
Oba Ewuare II said the peace pact would enable the candidates to talk to their followers to eschew violence.
