Okezie Ikpeazu who is the Governor of Abia state has been spotted playing the game of table tennis at an isolation center in Umuahia with a doctor Godfrey Achilihu.

The Governor was seen on Thursday, July 2, playing table tennis as means of exercise as he gears up in his recovery from deadly coronavirus.

In June, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu tested positive to Covid-19 and the Abia state number one citizen has been trying hard to recover since then.

Looking at the video of him playing table tennis, one can actually see that Governor Okezie is very fit as his people and state hopes the next result comes out negative.

There have been reports that the health situation of Governor Okezie is not getting better, but with this latest photos and video, he can be seen hale and hearty.

He is not the only Nigerian Governor currently down with Covid-19 as his counterparts from Ondo and Delta state are currently receiving treatment at isolation centers.

Coronavirus has been troubling the whole world since it emerged in China last year and has killed many people all over the universe.

The emergence of the virus has also stopped all sporting activities in Nigeria with all the schools also under lock.

While speaking with them, the former Arsenal star stated that people must not forget to be washing their hands regularly and also be covering their noses.

He also told them emphatically that they should not not join the bandwagon of some people who are claiming that Covid-19 is a scam in Nigeria.
