Former Nigerian professional footballer, Joseph Michael Yobo, has celebrated his wife, Adaeze, on her birthday. The former athlete's wife celebrated her 30th birthday this Tuesday, April 14.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the ex-footballer gushed about his beautiful wife. Yobo wished his wife a happy 30th birthday and noted that she is unbelievably precious to him.

According to him, he is happy to celebrate another year with Adaeze. He prayed that the special day will bring lots of moments to cherish.

Yobo added that he is proud and blessed to call Adaeze his wife. He also thanked her for being an amazing partner.

The former football star said his life is better because of her and stated that he loves her now and forever.

Yobo, who played center back, retired in June 2014. He was also captain of the Nigerian national team.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that comedian Ayo Makun recently called out bloggers for claiming his wife had plastic surgery. In an Instagram post, he stated that even though he is not opposed to cosmetic surgery, his wife has not had surgery.

Part of the post read: "It is also good to believe and respect that there are still people with what I call follow come. Not everyone has made the decision to go under the knife yet, and @realmabelmakun is one of them.

"Friends and families who know us together in last 15 years will attest to that simple fact. Some people are naturally blessed from generation to generation with the body. Except it is possible to believe that my daughter Michelle has gone under the knife too. Stop the fake news."
