Lockdown: I’m realizing I just started to live in my house - Yemi Alade

- Yemi Alade has taken to social media to reveal how the lockdown has affected her positively

- The top Nigerian singer stated that she just started to live in her home for the first time

- According to the tweet she put out, she spent more time travelling than living in her home prior to the lockdown

The lockdown has no doubt affected millions of people in different ways. While some people see it as an inconvenience they can't bear to suffer for long, others are looking at the positive sides to it.

One of such people is Nigerian singer, Yemi Alade. She recently tweeted about how the lockdown has made her to actually start living in her home. Alade who revealed she used to spend more time out of it as she was always travelling, described the feeling as good.

She tweeted: "Mehn, I'm just realising that even though I have always had a house, I only just started to LIVE in it and call it home. I spent more time at airports and in Airplanes. Even though I truly miss spending time on stage, it feels good to be at home( in a way) and I'm thankful."

Meanwhile, despite the numerous people taking advantage of the coronavirus pandemic to make profits by hiking the price of things, there are still some people out there looking out for others.

Twitter user, @mister_olumide recently took to the micro-blogging platform to reveal his landlord donated foodstuff to him and other tenants as they observe the lockdown.
