Lockdown giveaway: Lady slams man who sent her N10k to stock up

- A Nigerian man has taken to social media to call out an ungrateful benefactor of his giveaway

- Identified as ID Okorie, he recently did a giveaway of 500k, sending 10k to people in need

- One of the people who benefited from the giveaway however, was not impressed by the amount

- Identified as Uche Nilla Amechi, she sent him a message, blasting her for disrespecting her by sending such a meager amount

As Nigerians continue to struggle to survive following the enforced lock down due to outbreak of the dreaded coronavirus, many people including celebrities are reaching out to the people in need by sharing foods and money.

One of such people is a Nigerian man identified as ID Okorie. Okorie revealed he recently did a giveaway of N500k, sending N5k and 10k to several people. However, not everyone was grateful to receive help from him.

One of the benefactors identified as Uche Nilla Amechi, received N10k from the benevolent man. Rather than show gratitude, this seemed to displease her and then called to let him know the money wouldn't be enough. Okorie, probably put off by her ingratitude, hung up on her.

However, Nilla Amechi wasn't going to let it go so easily. She then took to Facebook to send him messages, blasting him for disrespecting her by sending such a small amount for her to stock up.

This appears to be what pushed Okorie to call her out on Facebook, demanding that she return the money he sent to her.

Okorie further explained his shock at her brazen nature, stating that he didn't know her from anywhere and simply chose to help her.

Okorie further revealed in the chat shared that he sent her a message demanding for the N10k to be returned to him. According to the chats, she laughed at him and revealed later on that she had taken the matter to SARS seeing as he tarnished her image on social media.

It is clear to see that the COVID-19 era is certainly causing issues in all aspect of life.

Meanwhile, some celebrities in Nigeria have taken to their social media pages to give out money to interested parties who indicate in their comment section.

Just recently, Nigerian music star, Peter Okoye of the defunct PSquare group also joined the list of celebs helping others during this time.

Peter sent out money to a lot of fans to the point that he was notified that he had exceeded his transfer limit for the day.
