There is a common saying that stronger that lover’s love is lover’s hate and that seems to be the case of one Maryam Sanda, who was charged to court in November 2017, for the alleged killing of her husband, Bilyaminu Bello.

The news of the court’s verdict has been met with different reactions on social media with some people preaching against anger or staying in an unhappy marriage.

However, a Nigerian activist identified as Rahama (@Forever_Rayyan) on Twitter, has taken to the microblogging site to show support to Maryam.

According to Rahama, men are demonic and can push one to extreme lengths. She added that Maryam’s life matters in this case and that her husband misbehaved which led to her stabbing him in anger.

Rahama reiterated that she stands with Maryam and that even though she killed her husband, it is not a reason for them to pay evil with evil. She added that because Bilyaminu Bello’s father is a former PDP chairman does not mean Maryam does not have rights.
