Meanwhile, Legit.ng gathers that the Governorship Campaign Council of the Kogi state All Progressives Congress (APC) said it was confident of Governor Yahaya Bello's success in the forthcoming election in the state.

Kingsley Fanwo who is the chairman of the media and publicity of the campaign council stated this in Lokoja.

According to Fanwo, the APC has increased support of the people of the state and key personalities which would aid the governor's bid for reelection.

He boasted that only Governor Bello could defeat himself in the forthcoming election, adding that the coming back of the aspirants who contested against the governor during the primaries had massively boosted the APC's chances.
