An allegedly corrupt police officer who extorted a Nigerian man in Osun state have been exposed.
The police officer was exposed by an Instagram user, @the_eventguy, who alleged he was extorted by the security official.
According to @the_eventguy, the police officer with his team unofficially go around abducting people in the name of the hunt for Yahoo boys. He said the officers take their victims to strange places and make you pay for your release.

Releasing picture of the 'corrupt' officer involved, @the_eventguy, also made available on his Instagram post, a screen shot of a N20,000 transfer made to the policeman.
@the_eventguy said: "Let the Whole world know this criminals who call themselves police men, a member of IGP Squad, Osun State command, Osogbo...
Young people who work so hard to make money are no longer safe as these guys now unofficially go around abducting people in the name of the hunt for Yahoo boys take you to strange places and make you pay for your release...

I was able to take a photo of one of them as I was making a transfer to his account for my release. This happened on the 8th of June just around lameko in Osogbo."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that some SARS officers allegedly shot at a man mistaken for an internet fraudster in Lagos over the weekend.

The incident was said to have taken place at Chinese town in Ojota, Lagos state.
In a video which went viral on the internet, the man was lying unconscious on the ground while SARS official and residents were seen involved in an altercation over the incident.
