A lack of playing time in Milan made a switch inevitable for Chukwueze, as Christian Pulisic was in fine form, which meant minutes for the Nigerian were limited, and speculation swirled until Fulham made their move.
Late on deadline day, Chukwueze completed his medical in London and signed a season-long loan deal with an option to buy, The Niche reports.
The deal could rise above €25 million, though Fulham are under no obligation to make the transfer permanent.
For Chukwueze, this is a chance to relaunch his career in the Premier League.

Chukwueze set season’s target for Fulham
Chukwueze is not at Craven Cottage to make up the numbers as he has made it clear he wants to help Fulham push for European football, Punch NG reports.
“I can’t wait to make a difference. I want to help Fulham get where they should be, the top four, in Europe. That is the most important thing,” he told the club’s official channel.
The 26-year-old winger joins a side already home to Nigerian teammates Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey, plus his former Villarreal clubmate Jorge Cuenca.
Their presence has already helped him settle quickly, and he is eager to hit the ground running.
With 45 goals across his European career so far, Chukwueze believes his ability to take on defenders one-on-one will add an edge to Marco Silva’s team.
If the Nigerian winger can find his form, Fulham may have pulled off one of the smartest deals of the window.
