Four-time WAFCON winner Asisat Oshoala scored for Nigeria during their opening match against Tunisia at the 13th Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The 30-year-old was also instrumental to the Super Falcons winning their tenth WAFCON title, as they beat host Morocco 3-2 in front of their fans, per BBC.
Since breaking into the senior national team in 2013, the Bay FC star has always contributed to the Super Falcons on and off the pitch.

Super Falcons legend Asisat Oshoala said she never had the intention of playing professional football.
In a viral video on TikTok, the former Liverpool player explained that she wanted to become a lawyer.
The five-time WAFCON winner said she has the ability to defend people despite being wrong. Oshoala said:
"I never wanted to play football professionally; it was never in my plans. I wanted to be a lawyer for real; that was my actual dream.
"You know, I love to do research, question people, and make excuses for people even when they are wrong. I still back my friends up whenever they do things wrong."

Nigeria sports journalist Lekan Richard said Asisat Oshoala is one of the most unique players ever to come out of Nigeria.

Speaking in an exclusive comment with Legit.ng, Richard explained that Oshoala has given her best to the country and can still fulfil her dreams of becoming a lawyer.
He stressed that the Super Falcons player focuses on her education after playing active football. He said:
"I am a big fan of Asisat Oshoala and one of Africa's biggest exports. The Super Falcons player has given her best since she broke into the senior national team.
"If she still wants to become a lawyer, I believe she can achieve this since she is on the verge of retiring from country football. She is a very intelligent player and can become a great lawyer."
Has Asista Oshoala retired?
Legit.ng earlier reported that the former Barcelona star Asisat Oshoala, who debuted for the Super Falcons in 2013, was said to have shared a post about a possible retirement from international football after the WAFCON.
Checks on all her social media accounts show that no such statement exists, and the former Barcelona Femeni star has not addressed the rumours.
