Robert Lewandowski showed Barcelona fans what they will be expecting this season after the 33-year-old put up a masterclass performance in their friendly victory against Pumas UNAM.
The Poland forward was playing his first game at the Camp Nou and showed his masterclass after grabbing a goal and two assists against their Mexican opponents.

Lewandowski, who had failed to score in any of Barcelona’s friendlies on their U.S. tour, opened the scoring in the third minute of the Joan Gamper Trophy match Sportstar reports.

The 33-year-old converted Pedri’s pass with a brilliant finish from a tight angle after rounding the goalkeeper in a sleek move that drew applause from the Camp Nou fans.
Spanish midfielder, Pedri netted a brace while Ousmane Dembele, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Frenkie de Jong got on the scoresheet to complete the rout for the Catalans.
Pedri hails Robert Lewandowski impact at Barcelona
Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski is already receiving plaudits from his fellow teammates at Barcelona despite only joining the Spanish club last month.
According to All Football, Pedri has described playing with the former Bayern Munich forward as a luxury after Barcelona’s 6-0 routing of Pumas UNAM on Sunday, August 7.
The 33-year-old assisted both of Pedri’s goals against the Mexicans and the young Spanish midfielder has now disclosed he really enjoys playing alongside Lewandowski.
La Liga blocks Barcelona from registering Lewandowski
Earlier, Legit.ng reported Barcelona’s financial troubles is still haunting the Spanish club as they have been blocked by La Liga from registering the club’s new signings.
Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Jules Kounde, Frank Kessie, and Andreas Christensen have all joined the Catalan giants this summer as Barcelona tries to rebuild ahead of the 2022/23 season.
La Liga has informed Barcelona that their five new signings this summer still cannot be registered for the new season as the club does not meet financial requirements.
