Ahmed Musa: Super Eagles captain visited by Nigerian serving senator Istifanus Gyang

The Senator representing Plateau North Senatorial District in the 9th National Assembly, Istifanus Gyang, recently paid a courtesy visit to the home of Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa.

Musa and the lawmaker were seen in footage as they tour the home facility of the Nigerian footballer amongst other dignitaries.

He earlier left Saudi Arabian giants Al Nassr as the club confirmed his departure late last year after he had spent two years in the Middle East.

Al Nassr who are eight-time Saudi Arabian Professional Football League champions took to their official social media page to wish Ahmed Musa good luck in his career.

After leaving Premier League side Leicester City due to lack of active playing time, Ahmed Musa joined Al Nassr on a free transfer and his move was celebrated by the club's fans.

It was gathered that he has been at home in Jos, the Plateau State capital and as the holiday winds down, he welcomed Senator Gyang to his home.

He wrote:

"I am indeed grateful to have been visited by Senator ID Gyang on this day. Taking time out from your busy schedule is a great honour. Thank you so much sir."

The Nigerian captain was spotted at the Jos Stadium to grace the Nigeria Professional Football League game between Plateau United and Kwara United last week.

He took time out to visit one of the ten-match centres as the new season of the local league kicks off on Sunday, December 27.

Musa is not alien to the league as he also got his career started with Kano Pillars where he won the highest goals scorer award in 2010 with 18 goals.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa has revealed plans to open another sports centre somewhere in Kaduna City soon.

The former Premier League attacker shared a clip on his social media page showing the facility which appears to have been completed.

This is coming two years after opening a sports complex in Kano, while also launching a multi-million naira barbing salon in 2019.
