ADC or ADA? Coalition Takes Final Decision, Issues Directive to Obi, El-Rufai, Others

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar-led coalition seeking to sack President Bola Tinubu in the next general election has finally settled for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), while distancing itself from the All Democratic Alliance (ADA), the yet-to-be-registered political platform.

Bolaji Abdullahi, the interim national publicity secretary of the movement, disclosed that the development was part of the party leaders' resolutions in Abuja on Thursday, September 25.

According to Daily Trust, the ADC further asked his members, which included Peter Obi of the Labour Party, Aminu Tambuwal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Nasir El-Rufai of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) to resign from their party and fully join the ADC.
