From the short time she knew her, Esther said Comfort was a little shy girl who always reported anyone disturbing her peace.

She was not troublesome back then in school. In response to reports that Comfort is a call girl, Esther said the only business she knows the Ibom Air passenger does is the real estate business, which she posts about daily on her WhatsApp status.

Esther urged the general public to cut Comfort some slack and appealed to the federal government to temper justice with mercy. In her words:

"Comfort Emmanson also known as Commybliz Emmanson happened to be my junior student back in Cornelia Connelly College(C.C.C), as a matter of fact, she was my dormitory girl; meaning i was her dormitory head. She came in when i was in SSS2 which i wrote WAEC and left school the following year.
"The only thing i can say about Comfort for the little time i spent as her Dom head is she, was a little shy girl, always coming to report everyone who looked for her trouble to me. I didn't know her to be a troublesome girl.... except if she changed overtime.
