Reacting to the announcement, an X user identified as JustPelz noted that the highest mark recorded was 372, attributing it to Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin.

"372 is the highest UTME SCORE. Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin," he said.

The examination body had earlier disclosed the names of the leading candidates in the 2026 exercise during its Policy Meeting on Admission held in Abuja, Guardian reports.

According to the information released, Owoeye Daniella Jesudunsin emerged as the overall best performer nationwide, having obtained an impressive score of 372 out of a possible 400 points.

The female candidate, identified as Jusudunsin, sat for the examination in Ogun State. She was said to originate from Ekiti State.

Records indicated that she had chosen to pursue a programme in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Lagos as her first preference.

Further details about her academic background and future plans were circulated online, drawing commendation from members of the public.

Details about second best JAMB student

Enwere Kingsley Ikenna placed second. The male candidate, who came from Imo State, secured 370 points.

He had reportedly applied to NILE University of Nigeria to study Computer Science.

In third position was Bamisile Ayomide Emmanuel from Ondo State who obtained 369 points in the examination.

His application was directed to the Federal University of Technology, Akure, where he intended to study Software Engineering.
