The unexpected moment caused him to break down in tears as they approached him with the gifts.

One after another, they stepped forward and handed over their gifts to him.

He had not anticipated the gesture and became overwhelmed as the students continued to come forward.

Commenting on the story, Jessica Obong, a Nigerian student, stated that the HOD must have been a nice man.

"Well me I have not seen any lecturer that I can join and do this for o. Before you do this kind of thing for someone you know what that person has done for you. So he must have been nice. Me I haven't had that kind of good experience," she said.
