A Nigerian man turned to the internet to ask for assistance regarding a problem his sibling encountered after taking the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

He explained that his brother made several attempts to view his result but was unsuccessful.

Man says brother can't check UTME 2026 result

Identified as kabeer_eesa on X, the man stated that each time his brother tried to access the result, a particular notification appeared on the screen instead.

The message informed the user that he was not eligible to subscribe to the service.

Lamenting online, the man sought help to understand what could have caused the issue and shared his concern publicly.

In his words:

"My brother have been trying to check his JAMB result, but it keep showing "dear customer, you are currently not eligible to subscribe to this service. thank you" what might be the issue."

Many candidates who participated in the same examination had already begun posting their scores across various social media platforms.

The practice of sharing results had become common since the 2026 UTME results were released by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.

The brother of the candidate expressed confusion over the response he received from the result-checking platform.

He noted that his sibling had completed the examination like other applicants but was unable to proceed past the subscription stage when attempting to retrieve the score.

The wording of the notice left him uncertain about whether the problem was technical, related to eligibility, or caused by something else.

Other JAMB candidates experienced no difficulty and had been uploading screenshots of their results for days.
