Her father had remarried after her biological mother passed away, and the stepmother, aged 24, had been making efforts to get close to her.

Lady shares voice note from dad's wife
The lady, identified by the handle @preshglamztouch on TikTok, shared a voice note from her 'stepmother', expressing her surprise at the younger lady's behaviour.
In the voice note, her dad's new wife had called to check in with her, expressing concern for her well-being and telling her to enjoy herself and sleep well.

"Yes I got to hear your voice. You didn't go to school or do you have afternoon or evening lecture? Enjoy yourself. Sleep well. I wanted to hear your voice," the new wife said.
The lady, however, seemed 'amazed' and indifferent by the new wife's actions, finding it surprising that she would take the time to call and check up on her.
According to her, she found it weird that her dad's new wife would call and show such interest in her life.

She explained that her father had married the 24-year-old lady after the passing of her mother. It appeared that the lady was just trying her best to build a relationship with her husband's daughter.
