Man Who Claims to Be Real Killer of Charlie Kirk Arrested and Charged for Obstruction of Justice

A man who claimed he was the actual killer of Charlie Kirk has been arrested by the police and also charged in court.
The man made the false claim shortly after Tyler Robinson reportedly shot Charlie Kirt at Utah Valley University.

The 71-year-old, known as George Zinn, called the attention of law enforcement at the university and told them he committed the crime.
He had said:
“I shot him, now shoot me."
This statement led the police to arrest him and drag him away from the scene, but it turned out he was telling lies.
It was later found that Tyler Robinson allegedly killed Charlie Kirk and not George Zinn.
He has confessed that he did what he did to “to draw attention from the real shooter," Fox 13 reports.
He also said he “wanted to be a martyr for the person who was shot."
However, he has now been formally charged in court for obstruction of justice and wasting law enforcement resources, per the New York Post.
Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill said Zinn is known to be involved in troubles with law enforcement.
He said, per Salt Lake Tribune:
“Almost every political event you can think of, there was always George somewhere in the background, listening. He’s a person who can be odd, and has those kinds of sometimes odd behavior challenges. But by and large, he’s more of a gadfly than anything else.”

In an old video which is circulating on social media, the young man was spotted reading the scholarship letter.

Earlier, a man recognised as having the highest IQ in the world continued to mourn Charlie Kirk, whom he described as his friend.
Young Hoon Kim, who had earlier prayed for the eternal repose of Charlie Kirk's soul, shared a new post about the slain activist.
In the new post, Young Hoon Kim said he will not die even if his enemies choose to kill him like they killed Charlie Kirk.
He said:
"From the world's highest IQ record holder: Kill me like you did to Charlie. Yet, like Charlie, I will never die, for the life of Christ is in us. As it is written: “For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” (Matthew 16:25)."
