A Nigerian lady shared an experience she had on a day she went to look for a job.

She said job-hunting taught her some memorable lessons she will never forget.

In a video she posted, the lady, identified as @mofiyinfoluwaaaaa, said she has received many bad offers from employers.

She said one employer offered to pay her N5000 to work as a customer service representative.

According to her, the interview was going well until it got to the point where salary was discussed.

She was so shocked when she heard that the salary was N5000. The employer owned a pastry.

But the would-be employer told her that there would be other benefits attached to the job, such as getting cakes for free.

She would eventually reject the job offer. She said:

"Job hunting would not see the end of me. You guyss….I was shocked!!"

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a woman had lost her job at the Commonwealth Bank, Australia, after she was replaced by an artificial intelligence (AI).

The bank staff, identified as Kathryn Sullivan, 63, has worked for the organisation for 25 years before AI replaced her.

Interestingly, Kathryn Sullivan was the one who trained the AI chatbot, not knowing that it would take her job.
