The message was shared online by his ex-girlfriend with the handle @lifestyle_content55 on TikTok.

According to her post, she had recently taken back items she bought for him after their breakup, causing him to send the message.

In the message, the man disclosed that he had never truly loved Amaka, but rather used her as a "placeholder" until he found someone better.

He stated:

"Amaka, I saw the tantrum you are pulling online, but let me help you with the closure you need. The truth is, I never loved you the way you thought I did. You were more like a placeholder until I found someone better, and deep down, you probably knew that.

"I got tired of pretending, tired of carrying a relationship I didn't even want. You gave too much, and it only made me lose respect for you because it felt desperate. Don't blame me for moving on quickly. I was already gone long before you noticed. You were convenient, not special."
