After initially walking out on him due to his phone, an iPhone 12, she became overly friendly and attentive when she learned he was her friend's boss.

Her behaviour shifted from indifference to admiration, as she began laughing at his jokes and showering him with attention.

The man narrated:

"Approached a Nigerian lady in North London. Asked for her number, she said yes but when I pulled out my phone, she asked Is that 12? I said yes and she walked off saying she wasn’t sure about friends. 4 days later at a friend’s birthday, she’s suddenly fawning over me after my junior colleague, who was the birthday girl, told her This is my boss. Suddenly, she’s all smiles, laughs at my jokes and acting like I’m the most impressive person in the room. Some people don’t care about you until your status changes."
