According to Jarvis, her boyfriend Peller was upset about the new look and expressed his displeasure by shouting.
However, she was not so concerned about his reaction as she believed she took the right step achieve her hair goal.
In the video, she confidently responded to her man's frustration, saying:
"Peller just dey vex for me dey shout. Why is he shouting? Did I use his money to barb my hair? He should go and sit down jare. Shouting for nothing. I barbed my hair because I want to start my hair afresh. It's as simple as that. I want to look neat and start my hair afresh."
In the clip shared on TikTok by user @vedika844, Jarvis went on to explain that the change was a personal choice, made to give her hair a fresh start.
